Okay... So I lied about posting over the break... What's new?

I have become an awful blogger, but I was just enjoying being home so much that I didn't take the time to blog about it.
This is me the week before I came back home. I got an awful case of strep. :(
Now I am back at school with barely anytime to do anything but homework. So homework takes precedent. But, I promise I will try harder. Maybe I will try to blog on Sunday's, my day off where I can just kick back and relax. :) Yeah. I like that plan. Then I can include stories and pictures. My two favorite things! :) Well, besides my family, and my friends, and mail, and... well you get the point.

Well, I am done with classes for the day and I don't have too much homework, so blogging it is. :) First off, it is SO good to be back. I absolutely love Hawaii, and sometimes I can't believe that I actually live here. It is crazy! I love it though. So. Much. Even if I don't get to enjoy the beach all of the time.

The first weekend that we were back we had a sleepover. :)
Haha. This brings back so many fun memories.
While at the sleepover we decided to try on each other's hair. :) This is me sporting Nicole's beautiful locks.

I really wish I had long wavy hair like Nicole's. :)
Kayla, Nicole, Diana, and I partied all night. We all laughed a lot and had a great time. It was a much needed girls night, especially because I had really missed my girls. (This semester they all have jobs and are busy with classes so I don't see them as often, so I cherish the time I have with them.) After our way fun sleepover we all spent our Saturday doing various different things, Diana and Kayla both had work, but Nicole hung out with me while I cleaned my room (a much needed task).
This is about half of what I had shoved into my desk... It needed some help.
It was fun just spending time with her even if we didn't really do anything. We just talked. :) One of my favorite things. I love getting to know people, and to share my life with them. It is also always nice to have some one on one girl time. :) Sunday we went to church and I was set apart as the Relief Society Secretary in my ward. I'm excited to serve the girls in my ward. :) Then on Monday it was Martin Luther King Jr. Day. This is where my adventures begin. :)

Next Stop: Hanauma Bay. Or so we planned.
Remember this beauty that I always use to finish a blog post? Well, this is where I was about to go! Jealous. Right?
Diana and I were to catch the bus at 7:15, then it would continue on and pick up Nicole at her place. After that we would make a transfer and ride some more. Then we would transfer one more time, and then finally continue onward to our final destination. Hanauma Bay. It was so perfectly planned out. But then Diana had no money... And I only had enough to get us to the second transfer. So, we decided to go until we couldn't anymore, and then get some more change at the second transfer so we could catch the bus, and then be able to get back home. A piece of cake.

We made our first transfer and then waited until the next stop.

On our directions it said "Sea Life Park." We didn't think too much of it, and I just thought that was the name of the street. However, once we got to our stop, there was no way that we were going to pass up such an awesome opportunity. It was like a mini Sea World.

Nicole, Diana, and I were in absolute HEAVEN! The daily admission was $30 a person, but we asked if they had a Kama Aina Discount (for locals) and they did. So we each got in for $12 instead. Score! We also learned that we could swim with dolphins for $60 instead of $110. Dream come true (but not until later when we could afford it). We paid, and went in. We saw a sea lion show, which was alright, but I was really just excited for the dolphins.
This is during the Sea Lion Show. They were pretty cool. It was just a strange show.
We went to go stand by the tanks, or pools, or whatever they are called where the dolphins were. The show was not for another half hour to an hour, so we spent time by the dolphins. One, a wholphin (1/2 Killer Whale and 1/2 Dolphin) was. He was so awesome. We were the only ones standing by him and he would swim in circles around the tank and then he would jump up, or pop up right in front of us. It was amazing and I just couldn't believe how lucky I was.
There he is.
Isn't he beautiful?
Oh my goodness I love Dolphins.
Right before the Dolphin Show we went to a touch pool.

We touched all sorts of sealife. And they were all so many textures. It was awesome. Then it was time for the Dolphin Show, which I LOVED!!!

It was so awesome to see them. I think a dolphin might just be my new favorite animal. :) That's how much I enjoyed seeing them. :) Thinking about it brings a smile to my face. :)))

After the show we grabbed some food and then headed over to the Final Show. We sat in the splash zone and got SOAKED!!! :) SO fun.

The dolphins were so close. And then they had penguins walk around.
Then they brought out the sea lions. It was amazing.

One of the coolest parts of it being a little place, is that it is so much more interactive. :) And, with some money, you can virtually do anything.

After we had finished at Sea Life Park, and gotten some change for the bus, we decided that we still had plenty of daylight and continued on our journey to Hanauma Bay. :)

Because we are locals we got in free, and then we got to go snorkeling. It was so cold, but SO amazing. There were so many fish. AND there were SEA TURTLES!!! :) Best. Day. Ever!

Diana and Me

My week went well, and then on Friday night we had another sleepover. This time at Nicole's place. Diana and I ran while Kayla got to ride on the moped.
We watched the DaVinci Code and talked, and ate and had a great time.
Then for breakfast we ate french toast. So. Good. :)

That afternoon we went to the beach where I got fried. Although, it has turned into quite a nice tan. :)

It got worse and worse as the day went on. My legs and arms even burned. It was pretty bad.
This week has pretty much consisted of late nights and lots of homework. Not a whole lot else, besides trying to get rid of this massive cold sore that has taken over my face. I am  happy for this weekend though. Hopefully I will just be able to kick back and relax. Just enjoy my free time. :)

Well, I hope that you are now caught up on my life. I know I still haven't really said anything about my break, but I don't have any pictures to share. I know, what a dilemma.

Oh! I get to go to Laie Elementary School every Wednesday to my Kindergarten Class, and I love it! :) It makes me so excited to be done with school and finally get to live my dream of being a teacher. :)
